You can also ask that everything can be done through smartphones but the truth is we can not do all the works. Every one of us using smartphones/tablets but every task cannot be done through smartphones even though it is compatible and easy to use it always seems like a time-wasting machine except internet usability and making calls over.

Especially in the time of the COVID-19 situation, we have understood the clear use of laptops.

1.Operating system

Nowadays most of the operating systems used in laptops for windows. If you want to reduce the cost of the laptop just buy the  Microsoft DOS operating system so that you can reduce the price up to ₹4000 to ₹5000. Then you can change later for the windows 10 operating system. I think you know how to change the windows 10 operating system without any cost, right.?

2.Price

Before buying a laptop you should think that for what purpose we are going to buy the laptop whether it is for editing, educational, gaming purposes. Because they are not changing the laptop often and fix the budget above 10-20 % of the budget you are going to buy.

3. Screen size

From the above point, I think you have decided on the price accordingly you can choose the screen size. Suppose if you are using for educational purposes and all-time convenient is 15.6" inch is better or if you want to do any multipurpose work or gaming you can more up to 17" inch. It's upon to you according to the budget. Get the display of matte finish instead of glass finish it may avoid your eye strain for long use.

And my advice is to don't buy HD displays because the market is moving to  4K and Ultra HD. So try to avoid buy HD displays and get Full HD screens.

4. Processor

Most of us here the word intel processor which are i3, i5,i7. But we skip the word generation. You can by the current generation which is the 10th generation so that it will be good for the next three to four years. You can buy any processor i3, i5, i7 it may be whatever but you have to consider the generation try to buy at least 8 generation it would be better.

5. Storage

The speed of the computer is not only because of the processor it also depends upon the storage. We have to upload and download the files, install the operating system, and so on.

Now we are using the storage as a hard device it is the moving part that may be the chance of deleting the files high and the current trend is SSD(Solid-state drive). If you consider the speed of the laptop just buy with SSD.

6.RAM

if you are using the laptop for editing or coding purposes for the projects, I prefer you should buy for 8GB. And before buying the laptop you should check you have the extendable slot for RAM. If you bought the laptop with fixed RAM for 8GB You can't able to extend in future so check while you are buying the laptop whether it has an extendable RAM slot.

7. Warranty

Another important thing is the warranty you should check the onsite warranty and Accidental Damage Protection(ADP). You have the extra cost prefer to buy ADP to secure your laptop for up to 2 years.

8. Graphics

There are two types of graphics Integrated Graphics and Dedicated  Graphics. The integrated graphics is it took space from 2GB RAM if you have 8GB. Choose that dedicated graphics even it has 1 GB memory. The effect will be perfect in editing, gaming, and watching movies as well.

9. Brand

Choose the brand according to the place you are located. Check the service center near to you or else the above points you have considered will not work out anymore. so, choose the brand that has a service center near to you.
